The Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for the development and deployment of secure and highly available private / public cloud platforms and services, including technical computing, end user workspace, storage, network, identity, collaboration and voice communications environments. Provide modern infrastructure solutions to support complex, modern business applications and services. The Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for the operations of secure and highly available private / public cloud platforms and services including applications, servers, and networks. They install, maintain, upgrade, and use DevOps principles to continuously improve the corporate operating environment. They also maintain the ongoing reliability, performance, and support of the infrastructure. This includes tracking metrics, monitoring, and event management; responding to incidents, problems, and planning for growth. The Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for developing, deploying, and testing disaster recovery and avoidance solutions for the systems and services that are critical to the operation of the business. These include,, infrastructure security services, telecommunications, compute, storage, core infrastructure services, workstation, remote connectivity, internet access, multi-site connectivity, monitoring and alerting, secondary data center(s), and business defined applications and services.
