Requirements

  • Understanding of engineering terminology
  • Demonstrate capability to communicate complicated comprehensive information to engineers, service personnel, mechanics, shop personnel, and customers.
  • Basic Computer Skills: Knowledge of PC and Mainframe Computer Environments
  • Word Processing and Spreadsheets
  • Adobe Drafting and other Engineering-Based Software
  • Graphic Design / Drafting / Machine or Structural Design

Responsibilities

  • Compose and manipulate technical illustrations for use in service publications.
  • Conducts research to support efforts in developing comprehensive parts breakdowns.
  • Interprets engineering drawings, bills of material, vendor furnished technical data, and physical parts in support of materials to be published.
  • Assists customers and fellow Taylor employees in locating parts and catalog pages via email, phone, or in person.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
