Requirements

  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and InDesign
  • Solid understanding of print production work-flows.
  • Ability to interpret and apply requirements into practical, manufacturable design solutions.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and file organization.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of professional design experience, ideally in manufacturing or regulated environment.
  • Must be a sole U.S. citizen (no dual citizenship) due to program security requirements.
  • Must be able to pass all required background screenings, including criminal history, credit, education verification, and drug testing, and must be able to obtain any program-specific clearances or credentials.

Responsibilities

  • Execute accurate and production-ready designs for secure and commercial products using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign
  • Translate design concepts and specifications into print-ready layouts that comply with standards and manufacturing requirements
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, quality, and program management, to ensure design feasibility and consistency.
  • Support design reviews with customers
  • Maintain precise documentation, version control, and file structure for all assigned design projects.
  • Apply strong understanding of color management, print processes, and material limitations to ensure manufacturable outcomes.
