About The Position

The purpose of this role is to provide classroom and hands-on aseptic and technical training and coaching. You will work closely with department SME's to ensure trained reflective of the current CT processes. This position is a vital business partner who is patient about training and committed to excellence while ensuring Lonza Houston's employees are properly named prior to performance. This position requires extra oral and written communication skills, across all levels of the organization and ability to authoritatively discuss technical issues with internal and customer experts. Requirements

  • GMP/GDP compliance knowledge.
  • Excellent Aseptic Technique and laboratory skills.
  • Computer software skills (i.e. LMS learning management systems, Microsoft Office), database and spreadsheet creation and maintenance.
  • Able to assess and recommend training needs and training assignments/requirements/curricula.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional consultation on training strategy, strong facilitation and delivery skills, and ability to coordinate complex training initiatives.
  • Skilled in coaching, training, and facilitation practices.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for leading aseptic qualifications for second and night shift.
  • Responsible for management and implementation of the technical training curricula site, including but not limited to: aseptic processing, gowning and hygiene, clean room behavior, basic contamination control, cell culture basics, CGMP/ISO and laboratory safety.
  • Assess trainee competency and provide feedback with trainees for success.
  • Support Training Supervisor in creating and maintaining the weekly training and aseptic qualification schedule.
  • Supports and/or approves training related records such as SOPs and work instructions.
  • Supports the creation of Learning and Qualification Modules (LQM), training presentations/aids and support materials with help from other technical SMEs.
  • Support Training Supervisor to identify technical training needs and expectations, monitor progress, address gaps.
  • Assess trainee competency, provide feedback, and coach trainees for success.
  • Works closely with the training supervisor to coordinate training programs and schedules for hires and current employees.
  • Assess training programs for continuous improvement, error reduction, and increased operator aseptic and process knowledge and skill.
