Your tasks: Based in in Duluth, GA, as Technical Field Engineer, you play a key role in installing, maintaining, and supporting Poseidon drowning detection systems across Georgia, with occasional assignments elsewhere in the United States. Technical aspects include following the procedure to calibrate the system on site, ability to handle computer equipment and CCTV exchange/replacement. You serve as the primary technical liaison for customers, sales representatives, and international agents, while ensuring compliance with the company’s quality standards and guidelines. Reporting to the R&D and Operations Manager (based in France), you will:

Requirements

  • Minimum 5-10 years of relevant experience in a technical, operational field (i.e. Computer Services, Electrical Services, Electrician, CCTV), ideally with a mix of hardware / software.
  • Extensive track record of customer service in a technical environment including complaints escalation and resolution.
  • Computer literate with experience of using Windows, MS Office, network and call logging systems.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Able to work independently in the field, with a strong sense of responsibility and problem-solving mindset.
  • Tenacious with the ability to build relationships that lead to customer satisfaction as well as working to financial targets.
  • Strong systems analysis and troubleshooting skills
  • Comfortable with international, multicultural environments.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Willingness to travel frequently across Georgia and occasionally to other parts of US.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in engineering, systems, IT, or a related technical field a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure and maintain Poseidon systems in collective swimming pools across the US.
  • Provide hands-on and remote technical support to customers and partners (HW and system-level).
  • Select and manage subcontractors while negotiating optimal pricing and terms.
  • Liaise with the customer to arrange on-site work schedules.
  • Deliver hotline support to customers, ensuring timely handling and resolution of enquiries, issues, and complaints.
  • Conduct system users training sessions.
  • Provide quality data to the technical team (SW US, HW/SW France) to ensure quick system calibration.
  • Maintain high levels of traceability and documentation using internal tools and databases.
  • Coordinate with the technical team in France to report issues and support continuous improvement.
  • Manage spare parts inventory and local logistics for system components.
