About The Position
The Engine Cylinder Block Technical Expert is responsible for design, engineering signoff, issue resolution and providing technical advice to engineers and IPTSE management team for engine cylinder block and associated structure components. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and performance of key components such as the cylinder block, cylinder liners, main bearing caps, and main bearing beam/windage tray. The expert will conduct Tech Club meetings to review design rules and requirements, share best practices, and provide technical consultation to guide sourcing decisions.
