About The Position

As a Systems & Network Engineer, you will responsible for some of the following but not limited to: Implementing and supporting technology solutions utilizing server technologies, virtualization, backup and disaster recovery, and assorted network solutions. Provides pre-sales support and ongoing support for all existing and future clients. Work closely with the sales team to assess both existing and potential network environments. Serve as the lead on complex technical issues, opportunities and projects. Deliver and support high level solutions using industry leading enterprise technologies including servers, storage solutions, switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access systems. Coordinate technical services activities during the sales cycle by working closely with sales team to deliver content for proposals. Develop good working relationships with clients and team members. Effectively communicate technical & business concepts to clients on all levels. Work with minimum of direct supervision or guidance from others. Exhibit sensitivity and awareness of the specific needs of clients, business partners, and technical services team members supervised. Remain up to date regarding relevant technology issues and advances.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer technology or information systems, or equivalent combination of education and experience is helpful but not required.
  • Microsoft Server certifications.
  • Minimum 5+ years full-time experience working in an IT services role or similar technology solutions environment.
  • 3+ years of network/server support preferred.
  • Must be able to obtain a Perc Card.
  • Strong knowledge of software troubleshooting and computer management.
  • Familiarity with IT support processes and desktop support tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Valid Driver License.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with network administration is a plus.
