The Team Lead role is integral to driving team performance and ensuring the successful execution of projects within Professional Services. This position involves a blend of leadership, strategic planning, client management, and operational oversight.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in SQL for complex query writing, data analysis, and troubleshooting
  • Strong prioritization, time management, and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Demonstrated collaboration skills and ability to work cross-functionally
  • Proven leadership, people management, and team mentorship capabilities
  • Ability to manage client expectations and deliver high-quality professional services
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, or similar is a plus)
  • 3+ years of experience in professional services, client delivery, or a related field, including leadership and management experience
  • High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality

Responsibilities

  • Conduct mid-year and year-end performance evaluations for team members.
  • Provide continuous feedback to align employee contributions with organizational goals and encourage professional growth.
  • Foster a high-performing team environment through mentorship, coaching, and individual development plans.
  • Analyze weekly resource utilization to ensure targets are consistently achieved without overburdening team members.
  • Balance workloads across the team while recognizing and proactively addressing potential burnout.
  • Monitor and scrutinize timesheets weekly for accuracy and adherence to company policies.
  • Input monthly forecasts by analyzing trends, project timelines, and resource estimates.
  • Maintain a six-month forward-looking forecast to optimize resource planning and organizational agility.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for client health escalations related to current work.
  • Maintain strong client relationships by proactively addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction with team deliverables.
  • Participate in weekly Program Charter reviews, critically evaluating scope, design, architecture, estimates, and resource capacity.
  • Ensure final Program Charter requirements align with achievable goals and set realistic expectations for project success.
  • Lead execution of internal initiatives aimed at driving organizational improvement and efficiency.
  • Innovate solutions to enhance internal morale and client experience.
  • Challenge the status quo through creativity and strategic action.
