About The Position

CTG is seeking to fill a Technical Engineer IV opening for our client.
Location: Remote
Duration: 15 months
Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Engineer IV with deep expertise in Splunk architecture and SIEM solutions. This role will lead the design, development, and implementation of complex enterprise systems, partnering closely with technology teams and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in systems design, engineering, or architecture
• Advanced expertise in Splunk architecture and SIEM design
• Splunk Enterprise Certified Architect or Splunk Core Certified Consultant
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure architecture, system lifecycle, and IT service management
• Proven ability to solve complex technical problems and deliver scalable solutions
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Experience with enterprise infrastructure, data integration, and complex system development
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Experience working in fast-paced, cross-functional environments
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Responsibilities

• Design and architect enterprise-level Splunk and SIEM solutions
• Lead infrastructure design, system integration, and deployment efforts
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Establish and enforce technology standards, policies, and best practices
• Perform system analysis, testing (unit, integration, UAT), and optimization
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership
• Manage vendor relationships and coordinate external resources
• Ensure compliance with risk, security, and regulatory standards
