About The Position

This role is responsible for leading the implementation and configuration of financial software solutions to meet complex client business requirements. The position partners closely with clients to understand their operational and financial needs, translating those requirements into effective system configurations, integrations, and reporting solutions. The role collaborates cross-functionally with Business Analysts, Technical Solutions, QA, and Product teams, while leveraging advanced SQL expertise to design accurate, client-specific financial reports. It requires strong ownership, independent problem-solving, and the ability to mentor junior team members, all within a fast-paced, client-driven environment. The ideal candidate brings deep technical proficiency, strong communication skills, and significant experience in financial software implementations, with a solid understanding of financial concepts and industry practices.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency with SQL, T-SQL, and a willingness to work primarily within MS SQL Server
  • Hands-on experience implementing interfaces to third-party systems using XML/Xpath, XSLT, and SQL tools.
  • Evaluate clients’ existing business processes to define requirements. Using those requirements, build and deliver a customized implementation of our system, streamlining and automating where possible
  • Understanding of financial terms and ability to translate into Technical Requirements
  • Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) and be adept at listening and soliciting feedback
  • Must be a resourceful problem solver and self-starter, and able to communicate effectively
  • English (reading, writing, verbal)
  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited university in a relevant field
  • 7+ years of relevant working experience

Nice To Haves

  • Financial software implementation/project management/business analysis experience
  • Strong understanding of Private Credit/ABL/CLO or Trade Portfolio/Investment Compliance
  • Familiarity with Jira and Agile development practices
  • Experience with tools like Git, ADO, and advanced Microsoft Excel principles
  • Desire to learn new skills, technology platforms and further finance knowledge
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment and successfully manage multiple competing priorities
  • Detail-oriented & strong work ethic

Responsibilities

  • Implement and configure the software to meet business requirements
  • Understand the clients’ business need related to the software and provide consultative solutions
  • Understand the functional impact of various configuration options and offer recommendations
  • Collaborate with internal team: Business Analysts, Technical Solutions, QA, Product
  • Build product knowledge through training, self-directed research / testing, and working with senior team members
  • Design and generate tailored reports leveraging advanced SQL query writing to meet specific client needs, ensuring accuracy and clarity in financial data analysis.
  • Demonstrate ownership of assigned tasks, and work both independently and as part of a team
  • Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and experience gained through implementations
