About The Position
Technical Editor, Mid Key Role: Apply a broad understanding of both quantitative and qualitative analysis and recommendations to improve organizational performance through changes to strategy, organization structure, processes, human capital or culture, and information technology. Make recommendations on how to capitalize on opportunities to improve client performance. Advise on how to improve operations and serve as a practitioner with multiple areas of expertise that span across management advising pillars, as well as other functional communities.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience with technical editing in a government or private environment
- Experience using Micro sof t Office programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook
- Ability to proofread for grammar and punctuation with a high level of accuracy
- Ability to pay strict attention to detail
- Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
- HS diploma or GED and 4+ years of experience with writing or editing, Asso cia te's degree and 3+ years of experience with writing or editing, or Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience with writing or editing
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of DoD intelligence editing standards and styles
- Knowledge of Community Authorized Classification and Control Markings ( CAPCO )
- Ability to manage multiple publication projects and work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
