About The Position

ProSidian Seeks a Technical Editor [DOE0118117] for Program Support on a Exempt W2: No Overtime Pay Basis Contract Contingent generally located across the CONUS - Richland, Washington Across The Pacific Northwest Region supporting DOE EM Hanford which is a Federal, regulated, high-stakes nuclear cleanup environment requiring multidisciplinary contractor support, compliance oversight, and mission assurance. We seek Technical Editor [DOE0118117] candidates with relevant Environmental Management Sector Experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for Environmental Management Sector Clients such as DOE. This as a Contract Contingent or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Oversight And General Support Services Under Job Task Category 06 Assistant Manager for Tank Waste and Waste Treatment (AMTWO/AMWTP) Functional Area / Swim Lane / Category Discipline Professional - General Support Services (GSS) For Hanford Field Office (HFO) Position; however, ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a Full-Time ProSidian employed W-2 Position.

Requirements

  • 5–8+ years technical writing/editing in regulated environments.
  • BA/BS in English, Technical Communication, or STEM.
  • Experience in Environmental Management Sector.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with controlled documents and proofreading.
  • Familiarity with business tools and technology, including Microsoft Office.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.

Responsibilities

  • Edit documents, manage reviews, maintain templates, enforce retention.
  • Provide expertise in editing, writing, and producing high-quality technical documents.
  • Support project management and enhance the quality and efficiency of project management for HFO.
  • Implement digital technologies and develop management planning documents.
  • Support senior management and ensure compliance with project management policies.
