About The Position
Peoples Church is seeking a dedicated and Christ-centered individual to join our team as a Technical Director. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and facilitating excellent sound and visual productions that enhance our ministries. You will collaborate closely with the Worship Arts Pastor to strategize and execute plans for weekend gatherings and other onsite events, ensuring that all technical aspects run smoothly and effectively. Your expertise will be crucial in delivering high-quality audio and visual experiences that support our worship services and community events. As the Technical Director, you will operate sound consoles with expert knowledge, organize staging and technical items, and maintain an inventory of equipment while performing necessary maintenance. You will also be responsible for recruiting and training staff and volunteers, providing production support for video testimonies, announcements, and other in-service videos. Troubleshooting existing software and gear will be part of your daily tasks, as well as scheduling media positions for live events using Planning Center Online. You will develop media team systems and protocols, purchase audio/video equipment as needed and approved, and attend staff meetings and training programs as assigned. Additionally, you may be asked to perform other duties as assigned by the Worship Arts Pastor, contributing to the overall mission and vision of the church.
