About The Position
In this position, you will remain abreast of scientific advancements within the Navy enterprise, Information Warfare enterprise, and Meteorology and Oceanography (METOC) enterprise. You will review Concept of Operations and advise the Commanding Officer on achievable and sustainment technical implementations. Your role will involve directing external activities to evaluate, deliver, and implement emerging technologies. You will establish new concepts and approaches to sensing, processing, and delivering physical battlespace awareness for the Navy Information Warfare Community. As a technical expert, you will provide analysis to predict the performance of electromagnetic and electro-optical sensors and electromagnetic warfare devices in current and future atmospheric environments. Additionally, you will represent the Command in research and development forums and develop and review Cooperative Research and Development Agreements (CRADA).
