About The Position

We partner with both federal service integrators and commercial enterprises to design, implement, and support secure, scalable, and innovative technology ecosystems. We’re seeking a Pre-Sales Engineering Leader to drive customer engagement, provide technical thought leadership across the OEM ecosystem, and deliver Future Tech solution and services capabilities. This is a full time, remote position, based out of the Washington D.C. area. Work hours are Monday - Friday, 8:30a - 5:30p Eastern time. This position will have responsibilities that include working on accounts that require United States Citizenship. As the Pre-Sales Engineering Leader, you’ll oversee and mentor a team of highly skilled pre-sales engineers responsible for customer engagement, technical solution design, and proposal development. You will be the bridge between our sales organization, engineering teams, and customers — ensuring that our technology solutions meet the highest standards of performance, compliance, and innovation. This role requires someone with deep knowledge of federal government programs and a solid understanding of enterprise IT ecosystems — from cloud infrastructure and cybersecurity to AI, networking, and modern workplace technologies.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in IT solution architecture, systems engineering, or pre-sales leadership.
  • Deep understanding of federal government IT programs (DoD, Civilian, or IC) and procurement environments.
  • Experience leading pre-sales teams across commercial enterprise accounts.
  • Proven ability to lead complex solution design efforts involving cloud, cybersecurity, networking, and infrastructure.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate value at the C-suite and technical levels.
  • Strong relationships with leading OEMs and technology partners.
  • 50% travel required (Customer visits, Conferences, Corp. meetings, etc.)
  • United States Citizenship is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; MBA or technical certifications (AWS, Azure, CISSP, etc.) preferred.
  • Demonstrated success building or transforming pre-sales organizations.
  • Experience navigating both federal acquisition frameworks and commercial enterprise buying cycles

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of pre-sales engineers supporting both federal and enterprise customers.
  • Oversee all technical engagement activities: discovery, architecture design, RFP responses, and demonstrations.
  • Guide the team in crafting strategic, compliant, and scalable technology solutions that align with client missions and business goals.
  • Collaborate with account executives to drive pipeline growth, customer satisfaction, and technical win rates.
  • Maintain strong alignment with OEM and technology partners to ensure best-fit solutions.
  • Stay current on federal acquisition processes, cybersecurity mandates, and emerging enterprise technologies.
  • Champion continuous learning and professional development within the pre-sales team.
