As a Mechanical Designer in the Design Integration group, you will be responsible for the mechanical design of small and large pulsed power, vacuum vessel, and ancillary systems; vacuum and pressure vessel/component design, hardware procurement support, overseeing of assembly, testing and operation of the above components/subsystems/systems that are integral to the pulsed power driven rare-gas/halide (excimer) lasers being developed for IFE power generation; initially for Xcimer prototype systems, and continuing through the design and demonstration of a power-producing IFE reactor.
