Join us as our new Technical Designer The Technical Designer is responsible for creating, modifying, and managing detailed technical drawings and designs using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software. They work closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to develop accurate plans, blueprints, or models for manufacturing, construction, or product development projects. This role requires a strong understanding of design principles, technical specifications, and industry standards. In this role you'll make an impact by: Preparing scale or schematic drawings using CAD software in support of Americas Project Execution and Operations. Working with a team of remote drafters by performing quality checks on their drawings and providing feedback. Controlling the process of drawing review, iterative corrections/revisions from Engineering/ Operations and repository in our drawing management application. Developing and maintaining regional and site-specific drafting and drawing standards. Researching and implementing new software applications such as 3D Modeling and technology to lead and implement innovative solutions to stay current with CAD industry standards. Performing drawing creation, 3D model creation, drawing conversion to Novonesis drafting software, implementing redline comments to master copy and update in the Novonesis Document Management System. Redlining P&ID’s with equipment numbering and verify no duplication of equipment numbering. Controlling capital project equipment flow including procurement, receiving, tagging and distribution to project personnel Creating real and master equipment registration in SAP database Collecting and organizing in SAP database equipment maintenance manuals, warranties and food safety documentation for all Americas capital projects. Creating LOTO procedures for project installed equipment Managing the NZNA Project Execution Warehouse in coordination with the Maintenance Warehouse operations including compliance with GMP, shipping and receiving.
