Requirements

Proven expertise in Revit and/or AutoCAD is essential. Please highlight your specific experience with these software platforms in your application.
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Technical Designer or similar role.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes.
Excellent spatial reasoning and ability to visualize complex 3D structures from 2D drawings.
High attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Nice To Haves

Proficiency with other design software is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings using AutoCAD and Revit based on design concepts, field surveys, and project specifications.
Create accurate bills of materials (BOMs) and cutting lists for production.
Collaborate closely with the sales, design, engineering, and production teams to ensure designs are optimized for manufacturing efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Interpret architectural plans, client specifications, and engineering requirements to develop appropriate solutions.
Identify and resolve design conflicts or technical challenges proactively.
Ensure all designs comply with relevant building codes and industry standards.
Manage and organize design files, ensuring version control and accessibility.
Participate in design reviews and provide technical input and recommendations.
Stay up-to-date with the latest software advancements, materials, and manufacturing techniques in the sign industry.
