This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working with a global bridal fashion brand. We’re looking for a Technical Design Intern ( internal title: Product Operations Intern ) to join our team for Summer 2026 and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You’ll support tech design, quality control, and the store return process, helping ensure gowns meet company standards and reach stores efficiently .

Requirements

  • Current student or recent graduate of a college-level program
  • Technical knowledge of garment construction including knowledge of sewing, pattern making and ability to do technical flat sketches
  • Sewist skills to perform gown fixes
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite - particularly Excel, Word, Power Point
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite - particularly Illustrator
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Familiarity with PLM software.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage working effectively to a deadline
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Be a team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic
  • Be procedure and process oriented with the ability to multitask
  • Ability to adapt to change in an ever-growing, fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Assist with quality control of shipments and store returns
  • Perform gown fixes, problem-solve construction issues, and communicate with internal teams
  • Maintain logs, spreadsheets, and case documentation
  • Review samples for fit, construction, and design updates
  • Participate in fit sessions
  • Support the sampling process to ensure design changes are correctly executed
  • Act as a liaison between sewists and Garment Technician team members
  • Gain exposure to custom gown processing, quoting, and technical flat sketches
  • Review photo approvals for custom gowns
  • Assist with line reviews, showroom set-up, and model room participation
  • Help create and maintain presentations, reports, and other admin materials
  • Support other business operations and departmental tasks as needed
