About The Position
This summer you could have the opportunity to work for one of the leading fashion retailers in North America, Chico's FAS is a company of three unique brands – Chico's, White House Black Market, and Soma. Our 11-week Summer Internship Program is the perfect way to gain work experience within the core of the organization. Position Objective: The Technical Design Intern will assist the technical design team with the entire product process, from development through the production stage. The intern will sit in on fit sessions, take fit notes, create and update production spec packages, measure samples and work with the technical team on strategies to solve fit issues.

Nice To Haves
- Critical eye for detail and proportion
- Strong measurement and technical skills
- Junior or Senior status at an accredited college or university with minimum GPA of 3.0
- Interest in pursuing a career in retail
- Strong communication, organizational skills, and an eagerness to learn
Responsibilities
- Be exposed to the total business processes and procedures
- Gain an understanding of the roles of the retail professionals
- Assist with special projects as assigned
