About The Position

Savage X Fenty is currently looking for a Technical Design Intern (Summer 2026). What you will do: Will work closely with a technical designer to analyze garments to determine compliance of spec, construction, and ensure fit meets design intent. Support the technical design team throughout fit life cycle. Attend fittings and take notes, adjust samples on fit models, clearly communication fit corrections and specs to vendors. Organize sample closet and account for all samples. Help prepare agendas, presentations, and materials for staff meetings and team events. Gain a first had experience of the technical fit process & the impact to the customer experience supporting the brand ideology a perfect fit for all The Intern Gig: We are looking for enthusiastic students with ambition to go far. Our full-time paid internship program will give you a chance to gain in-depth knowledge of what it is like to be a part of our fast-paced and innovative company. Our interns have the unique opportunity to gain real work experience, while participating in skill-building workshops and interactive social activities throughout the duration of the internship assignment. Our summer internship program will be in our El Segundo, CA headquarters and will run for 9 weeks from June 15th, 2026, through August 14th, 2026. We operate on a hybrid work schedule where employees must be willing and able to work in-office Tuesday-Thursday each week, with the option to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. We will not be considering remote or non-local applicants at this time. The hourly range for this position is $18.00-$19.00. The hourly rate offered will be dependent on factors including the scope and complexity of the role, candidate’s related work experience, subject matter expertise, and work location. Requirements

  • Preferred field of study: Fashion Design or Technical Design
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A strong interest in fashion
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities and hit deadlines
  • Demonstrates creative problem solving and collaborative thinking
  • Ability to follow through, ask questions, and maintain a high attention to detail
  • Understanding of design, development and production process
  • Strong aesthetic style and awareness of current trends
  • Flexible, positive, and determined attitude
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams/Slack, and Adobe Creative Suite (mainly Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator)
