About The Position

The Technical Design Assistant - Temp is responsible for assisting the technical team with their daily tasks. This position supports the Wholesale Apparel business. The responsibilities described below are considered essential functions of the role. This position is based in our NYC office and requires working on-site.

Requirements

• College degree in Technical Design / Pattern Making / Fashion Design
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Illustrator
• Good verbal and written communication skills required
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Self-starter with ability to work effectively as a team player

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples for fitting by measuring garments
• Assist in fittings by taking notes and photos
• Schedule fittings and fit times for multiple product categories
• Enter new order details into tracking spreadsheets
• Communicate with overseas factories
• Track and follow up on pending samples
• Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines with support and resources as needed
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
