About The Position

The Technical Delivery Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire technical delivery process of a project, ensuring that software or solutions are developed and delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The role requires close collaboration with development teams, stakeholders, and other technical departments while utilizing agile methodologies to manage project planning, risk mitigation, and communication across all levels to achieve successful project outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, extensive experience managing complex projects, and a deep understanding of supply chain operations, including inventory management, logistics, procurement, and distribution systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or related field; Master's degree is a plus
  • 7+ years of experience in technical project or delivery management roles within retail, wholesale, or supply chain environments
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environments with tight deadlines
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes, including procurement, logistics, warehouse management, and order fulfillment
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale, cross-functional technology projects
  • Solid technical background with knowledge of enterprise systems (e.g., SAP S4 HANA, WMS) and integration technologies
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and modern development practices (DevOps, CI/CD)
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and influencing skills
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills under pressure
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2) or Agile frameworks (Scrum Master, SAFe)
  • Ability to complete project based travel up to 20%

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SAP S4 HANA migration.
  • Knowledge of Warehouse Operations, EDI standards, and Supply chain integrations
  • Experience with data analytics and reporting tools
  • Proficiency in Agile frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, and experience facilitating agile ceremonies
  • Ability to identify and resolve technical challenges effectively

Responsibilities

  • Project Delivery & Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocations while managing scope, risks, and dependencies. Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of mid- to large-scale supply chain technology projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, and third-party partners to align project objectives and deliverables. Communicate effectively with clients, product owners, and business stakeholders to translate technical concepts into understandable language
  • Technical Oversight & Leadership: Provide technical guidance and expertise to development teams, ensuring adherence to technical standards, architecture, and best practices. Review technical designs, code quality, and implementation plans while identifying and implementing technology improvements
  • Risk & Issue Management: Identify potential risks and issues early, develop mitigation strategies, and escalate when necessary to ensure project continuity
  • Agile Practices: Champion agile methodologies, facilitating ceremonies like daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to drive continuous improvement in delivery processes and team performance
  • Budget & Vendor Management: Manage project budgets, forecasts, and resource allocations effectively. Oversee vendor relationships, including contract negotiations, performance tracking, and ensuring SLAs are met
  • Compliance & Governance: Ensure all projects adhere to compliance, security policies, and governance frameworks
  • Quality Assurance: Implement robust quality control measures, manage testing processes, and address identified defects to ensure high-quality deliverables
  • Team Collaboration & Mentorship: Foster a collaborative and productive working environment within the development team. Resolve technical issues and roadblocks effectively while mentoring and developing team members to promote continuous learning and improvement
