About The Position

We are currently seeking a Technical Delivery Manager (Server, Storage, Exchange and Database) to join our team in Addison, Texas (US-TX), United States (US). Technical Delivery Manager (Server, Storage, Exchange and Database) Dallas, TX - Client Site (Onsite - 4 days in a week) Role Description The Infrastructure Technical Delivery Manager is a hands-on manager responsible for overseeing end-to-end delivery of client engagements for a Life Insurance and Annuity Services provider with 2,000+ employees. This role serves as the primary technical authority managing shared services team supporting server, storage, Exchange, database, and midrange systems and is accountable for operational stability, complex incident resolution, DC oversight, and technical risk reduction across the client environment.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant experience required for the role.
  • Perform hands-on administration, configuration, and troubleshooting of:
  • Enterprise storage systems
  • Microsoft Exchange (on-prem and hybrid)
  • Windows and Linux server platforms
  • Database platforms (administration support level) including: Microsoft SQL Server
  • Manage builds, upgrades, migrations, patching, and performance tuning across infrastructure and database platforms.
  • Support data center operations including compute, virtualization, and hardware refresh activities.

Responsibilities

  • Act as Tier-3 technical escalation for complex infrastructure and database incidents.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent corrective actions.
  • Execute and validate infrastructure and database changes in accordance with ITSM processes.
  • Maintain configuration accuracy and technical documentation.
  • Configure and utilize monitoring tools for infrastructure and database platforms.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts for operational tasks and remediation.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for standardization, optimization, and cost efficiency.
  • Collaborate with shared services team and their organization for delivery of services.
  • Collaborate with application, network, security, and vendor teams for integrated service delivery.
  • Provide technical input into infrastructure and database architecture decisions.
  • Maintain runbooks, SOPs, and recovery documentation.
  • Stable and secure infrastructure and database platforms meeting agreed SLAs.
  • Timely resolution of infrastructure and database incidents, problems, and changes.
  • Documented configurations, runbooks, and recovery procedures.
  • Successful execution of upgrades, migrations, and DR activities.
  • Continuous improvement through automation and performance optimization
