About The Position

Seeking a mid-level Technical Delivery Manager to support the delivery of standard Gold Image solutions across a hybrid cloud environment for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Security Operations program. This role will work closely with a small, focused engineering team to plan, coordinate, and deliver reusable, secure cloud images in support of a broad customer base across AWS and Azure Government.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in information technology, including experience managing small, high-performing Agile teams.
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS and/or Azure) and modern DevSecOps practices.
  • Prior experience supporting compliance-focused engineering or cloud security teams is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to navigate technical and non-technical discussions.
  • Experience using Jira, Confluence, or similar tools to manage delivery.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Scrum Master certification (or other Agile credentials) and Government contract experience are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the engineering team and stakeholders.
  • Lead day-to-day delivery activities for the Gold Image workstream, ensuring timely and high-quality output.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies and manage the team’s backlog, priorities, and cadence.
  • Coordinate image development and maintenance activities across AWS and Azure environments.
  • Monitor workstream progress, manage dependencies, and escalate blockers as needed.
  • Track and report on workstream status, metrics, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Support the team’s use of automation and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) to improve delivery velocity and consistency.
