Technical Delivery Manager Digital Commerce JOB DUTIES: Manage the delivery of new features and enhancements on Upbound’s e-commerce platform, lead initiatives focused on seamless shopping experience for customer, identify opportunities, solve problems and develop new propositions that drive value for customers. Leading the technology development and maintenance of the e-commerce platform, including website development, user experience, security and site maintenance; analyzing market trends and technologies to stay ahead of the technology curve and setting / delivering goals for technological growth and innovation. Developing comprehensive project plans that outline the scope, objectives and deliverables of an e-commerce initiative, establishing timelines and milestones, and tracking the project’s progress against the plan; implementing Agile and Scrum methodology. Managing the development and testing teams, facilitating communication and ensuring that everyone is working towards the same objectives; leading and nurturing a team of professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Acting as a bridge between the engineering, product, UX, marketing and Digital Experience teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment of objectives, providing status updates on e-commerce initiatives to stakeholders. and improve the quality of engineering delivery to ensure the end product meets stakeholders’ expectations. Managing projects within the budget and resources of engineering delivery, including allocating tasks to team leaders and providing period status updates on budget tracking.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, Technology Management, or a related field and 5 years of experience in Software Engineering OR Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Technology Management or a related field and 2 years of experience in Software Engineering.
  • Working in the retail domain, specifically in Ecommerce Workflow
  • Using at least one of the following commercial ecommerce platforms: SAP B2C Commerce Cloud, Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud, Oracle Commerce Cloud, Magento (Adobe Commerce), or BigCommerce
  • Managing end-to-end integration with third-party services/applications
  • Utilizing at least one of the following relational database management systems: PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, or Oracle
  • Agile and Scrum methodologies and understanding of JIRA dashboards, filters, and custom queries (JQL)
  • Managing teams, mentoring engineers, and aligning technical goals with business objectives
  • Optimizing performance including security and user experience
  • Supporting business scalability
  • Handling real-time operational challenges
  • Applying Ecommerce fundamentals including product catalog, search and discover, cart, checkout, funnel management, improving conversion strategies and commerce analytics.
