About The Position

Northland Controls is seeking a well-qualified Technical Delivery Coordinator, located in Rochester, NY, Reston, VA or Austin, TX. The Technical Delivery Coordinator will be responsible for the successful delivery, commissioning, and ongoing support of rack-level protection solutions across regional data center environments. This role ensures high-quality deployment and integration of access control and CCTV solutions that align with Northland’s standards for physical security. Requirements

Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and manage complex programs.
Strong background in the design, deployment, and commissioning of access control and CCTV systems.
Experience with high-volume deployments in data center environments is highly desirable.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a data center-centric or similar security systems role.
Strong organizational skills and clear communication abilities are essential.
Experience with system configuration, commissioning, and support of physical security systems.
Familiarity with rack-locking solutions is highly desirable.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Must be authorized to work in the US or applicable region.

Nice To Haves

Experience with enterprise-level access control and CCTV systems.
Knowledge of rack-locking solutions is a plus.
Professional security certifications (e.g., ASIS, CPP) are desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

Coordinate deployment programs and support rollout activities.
Develop and manage system configurations, ensuring correct licensing and functionality.
Commission and support backend security applications (e.g., access control, CCTV).
Coordinate site attendance for commissioning and support activities, including remote commissioning.
Manage spares stock and oversee remote troubleshooting activities.
Train internal and external engineering teams on commissioning and break-fix processes.
Document processes and procedures to support program operations.
Provide statistical data and reporting to management.
Maintain strong stakeholder engagement and communication.
