About The Position

Northland Controls is seeking a well-qualified Technical Delivery Coordinator, located in Rochester, NY, Reston, VA or Austin, TX. The Technical Delivery Coordinator will be responsible for the successful delivery, commissioning, and ongoing support of rack-level protection solutions across regional data center environments. This role ensures high-quality deployment and integration of access control and CCTV solutions that align with Northland’s standards for physical security. Requirements

  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and manage complex programs.
  • Strong background in the design, deployment, and commissioning of access control and CCTV systems.
  • Experience with high-volume deployments in data center environments is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a data center-centric or similar security systems role.
  • Strong organizational skills and clear communication abilities are essential.
  • Experience with system configuration, commissioning, and support of physical security systems.
  • Familiarity with rack-locking solutions is highly desirable.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US or applicable region.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with enterprise-level access control and CCTV systems.
  • Knowledge of rack-locking solutions is a plus.
  • Professional security certifications (e.g., ASIS, CPP) are desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate deployment programs and support rollout activities.
  • Develop and manage system configurations, ensuring correct licensing and functionality.
  • Commission and support backend security applications (e.g., access control, CCTV).
  • Coordinate site attendance for commissioning and support activities, including remote commissioning.
  • Manage spares stock and oversee remote troubleshooting activities.
  • Train internal and external engineering teams on commissioning and break-fix processes.
  • Document processes and procedures to support program operations.
  • Provide statistical data and reporting to management.
  • Maintain strong stakeholder engagement and communication.
