At USAFacts, we believe facts deserve to be heard. We are on a mission to provide a comprehensive and unbiased look at our country by the numbers. Requirements

Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in data science, economics, business, computer science, human-computer interaction, or related technical degree
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (Python and SQL experience required)
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work setting.
Proficient in Microsoft Office or equivalent tools.
A genuine interest in creating great data products, product management and user experience.
A genuine interest in civic tech and the power of data in driving positive societal change.

Nice To Haves

Experience working on data integration or transformation project preferred.

Responsibilities

Analyze robust government data to reveal patterns, trends, and insights for publication on our flagship website product
Integrate data from multiple sources, ensuring compatibility and comparability
Leverage AI models responsibly to assist and accelerate core work
Generate reports, dashboards, and visualizations to effectively communicate data insights
Develop and implement procedures to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency
Identify data quality issues, resolve them where possible, and enforce governance best practices to comply with organizational requirements
Identify process bottlenecks and work with Product and/or Engineering Teams to resolve them. Solutions may include altering workflows, introducing automation, or integrating AI products
