About The Position

Quuppa is hiring a Technical Customer Support Engineer in the USA (preferably East Coast or Central US) to join its Services team. Primary responsibilities consist of delivering remote technical support for Quuppa products alongside support for third party resold systems and solutions, including troubleshooting, instructing customers on product usage, delivering training, contributing to support program development and collaborating on technical documentation. The role offers potential for expanded responsibilities. Who are we looking for ? An ideal candidate for this role is a customer-oriented person who is self-motivated, hands-on, organized, capable of successfully following up and completing complex tasks & not afraid of asking questions. To succeed in this role, one needs to gain an in-depth knowledge of Quuppa and partner’s products and be able to relate this knowledge to non-technical customers. The role also requires validating customers’ implementations, providing suggestions or alternative solutions and helping customers debug and troubleshoot system architectures. Underlining the importance of interpersonal skills, there is a lot of internal and external communication in this role. You can be a recent graduate or already have some years of experience - the role can be adjusted according to your skills and experience level.

Requirements

  • Relevant studies in engineering/technology
  • Strong, hands-on technical background and skill set from studies or previous work
  • Experience; e.g., in the field of radio engineering, telecommunications, computer networking, electrical engineering, or computer science
  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset
  • Good interpersonal skills and a customer-oriented approach to work
  • Fluent spoken and written communication in English

Nice To Haves

  • Be able to work remotely part of a satellite US Office
  • Working with customers in a technical support role for technology companies
  • Linux and Windows servers (configuration, troubleshooting)
  • Software development and APIs (REST API, UDP streaming, webserver)
  • Computer networks and IT infrastructures (TCP/UDP/IP, DHCP, routers, switches, etc.)
  • Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, private cloud)
  • Virtualization and containerization technologies (Docker, VMWare ESXi, Hyper-V, etc.)
  • Communication skills in other languages, for example, German, French, Japanese
