About the position

The Technical Customer Project Manager at EnterpriseAlumni is a pivotal role that combines technical expertise with project management skills to ensure successful implementation of customer projects. This position serves as the primary technical liaison between clients and the engineering team, focusing on integrations, data migrations, and API solutions. The role is designed for a tech-savvy individual who can translate complex technical requirements into actionable solutions, ultimately enhancing customer experiences with the platform.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the technical point of contact for customers during project implementations.
  • Analyze customer business requirements and develop technical solutions.
  • Assist customers in setting up and using their platforms, advising on integration methods and custom business rules.
  • Create and implement data migration plans for customers transitioning from other platforms.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to understand and communicate technical requirements.
  • Work with the data and strategy team to implement prototype or beta services with select customers.
  • Maintain project timelines by collaborating with the Head of Customer Projects and the Customer Projects Implementation Manager.
  • Provide technical support to the customer projects/implementation team, bridging technical and business language.
  • Collaborate with sales during the pre-sales stage to help customers understand integration possibilities.
  • Provide feedback to the product team to help productize repeatable bespoke projects.

Requirements

  • Experience working for a B2B technology company, preferably in SaaS.
  • Broad technical experience in engineering, development, or technical pre-sales roles.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Extensive experience with databases like Postgres and MySQL.
  • Experience working with APIs and defining business logic for system integration.
  • Experience with data migrations or data cleaning is a plus.
  • Understanding of basic internet technologies such as DNS, SMTP, and HTML.
  • Strong communication and customer-facing skills.
  • Project management skills in agile and waterfall methodologies; certifications are a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
