What You Will Do Provide technical expertise, guidance, training, development and advice to operational technicians and leaders to resolve complex operational issues, and drive quality and process improvement in the assigned plant. You monitor throughput, quality and lab analysis trends and review equipment, reliability and performance to identify risks and determine root causes while recommending actions to resolve or prevent production issues. In this role you collaborate on technological improvements and conduct regular training and mentorship to ensure operators remain current with technological advances, quality, operational standards, and how operators impact operations at site. As the Technical Coordinator, you act as technical expert in a specific area of operations, provide expertise to resolve major production problems. You are generally the highest-level technical position for this area at assigned site and have broad and deep background, knowledge and understanding of specific processes and associated equipment. You actively participate in site safety processes, and in collaboration with site management, help to incorporate safe working practices in the day-to-day activities of all operation staff. You will serve as technical expert on operational planning, processes and readiness, and collaborate with Planners on shutdowns and preventative maintenance. The Technical Coordinator leads project teams on identified production problems, process changes, plant startups and or expansions. You generate plant performance reports and analysis for site leadership, and at times represent the site on Company‑sponsored teams, and you perform other duties as requested.
