Role Description: The Technical Consultant plays a key role in providing implementation, consulting, and technical expertise to clients during the deployment and integration of software solutions. This role involves working closely with clients to understand their business needs, configuring solutions to meet those needs, and ensuring successful project delivery. The Technical Consultant collaborates with internal teams and stakeholders to drive customer satisfaction, adoption, and project success. Additionally, you will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end deployment processes within our customer environments. It will be imperative that deployment processes and workflow consider key aspects of the customer environment in which the deployment takes place. You will ensure deployments are seamless, secure, efficient, and aligned with industry standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proven experience (typically 3-5 years) in professional services, consulting, or technical implementation roles, preferably in software or technology.
  • Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, Chef) for IT infrastructure management and deployment.
  • Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Strong knowledge of network configurations, security protocols, and authentication (OIDC, OAuth2, Azure AD).
  • Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Mobile Application Management (MAM), and mobile app deployment in enterprise environments. More specifically Intune, Mobile Iron and Workspace One
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell, JavaScript) along with monitoring tools (ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana) for performance tracking and alerting.
  • Solid understanding of security protocols and practices for deployment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service and achieving client success.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to client sites for onsite engagements (travel requirements may vary).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience deploying technology in the legal sector is an asset but not required

Responsibilities

  • Conduct discovery sessions, workshops, and interviews to understand client processes and workflows.
  • Translate client requirements into detailed implementation plans and solution designs.
  • Customize and tailor solutions to meet specific client needs, integrating with existing systems and third-party applications as necessary.
  • Test and validate configurations to ensure functionality, usability, and performance meet client expectations.
  • Lead or support the implementation and deployment of software solutions, managing project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Provide technical guidance and support during go-live activities, system integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Deliver product training sessions and workshops to client stakeholders, including end-users, administrators, and executives.
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer and provide ongoing support to clients to ensure they maximize the value of the software solution.
  • Collaborate effectively with sales, product management, support, and development teams to align on client requirements and project goals.
  • Provide feedback to internal teams on product enhancements, features, and functionality based on client interactions and market insights.
  • Recommend core infrastructure setup for customer sites, considering DR/HA, to support deployment.
  • Create Deployment Plans/Checklists for every implementation
  • Maintain strong awareness and understanding of key security implications/requirements of all products.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continually improve our systems and processes.
