About The Position

This role focuses on leading cyber resilience and recovery initiatives for enterprise clients. The Technical Consultant will assess, design, and implement secure recovery architectures while providing expert guidance on backup, disaster recovery, and incident response strategies. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality recommendations, conduct tabletop exercises, and produce detailed recovery plans and technical artifacts. The position offers opportunities to support both client delivery and business development efforts, including evaluating solution feasibility and presenting findings. By contributing to continuous improvement, mentoring, and shaping architectural standards, you will play a key role in advancing organizational cybersecurity maturity. Strong technical expertise, consulting skills, and client-facing experience are essential for success in this dynamic environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, IT consulting, or related technical roles.
  • Strong expertise in ransomware recovery, secure enclave design, backup/recovery platforms (Rubrik, Cohesity, Veritas, Veeam), and cloud/virtualization environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Solid understanding of identity and access management (IAM), RBAC, privileged access, and network isolation principles.
  • Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT Management, or Cybersecurity preferred.
  • At least 2 industry-recognized certifications aligned with cybersecurity and resilience practices.
  • Proven experience consulting on secure architecture or solution design within complex enterprise environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong problem-solving, client engagement, and project coordination abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct cyber resilience assessments, analyzing recovery program maturity, backup configurations, and cloud implementations.
  • Develop and document practical recommendations, risk-based observations, and technical architecture designs.
  • Advise on Isolated Recovery Environment (IRE/CIRE) principles, network segmentation, access controls, and re-infection prevention.
  • Lead business impact analyses, infrastructure dependency mapping, and recovery planning activities.
  • Facilitate tabletop exercises, create Cyber Recovery Plans, runbooks, and playbooks.
  • Support client delivery and business development by assessing solution feasibility and contributing to workshops.
  • Mentor team members and contribute to continuous improvement of security services, standards, and methodologies.
