We are currently hiring a Business Analyst to support one of our federal clients in Northern Virginia. This role requires an active Top-Secret clearance with SCI. The ideal candidate works well with a team and has the desire and aptitude to learn new software, cloud applications and information technology concepts. This role is part of a broader team implementing and maintaining SAP solutions. As a functional analyst you will work closely with customer end users and developers to translate current processes into requirements for configuration and development of new functionality.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with requirements gathering and development
  • Strong analytical as well as organizational skills with an ability to manage competing priorities
  • Experience with database management and system integration principles
  • Active TS/SCI + CI polygraph required
  • Ability to learn functional concepts quickly
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Communicates relevant messages on time and with constructive feedback to cross-functional colleagues & managers
  • Prior experience with enterprise software or cloud applications, e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, AWS, Google
  • Bachelor's Degree + 2 years minimum professional experience
  • Willingness to obtain CompTIA Security+

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with end-users, subject matter experts and internal teams to gather and understand their needs, objectives and constraints
  • Analyze gathered requirements to identify potential conflicts or gaps, work with users to clarify and refine the requirements, as needed
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to create clear and concise requirement documentation
  • Establish traceability between requirements and test cases to ensure end-to-end test coverage
  • Manage changes throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring proper approval and documentation of changes
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance the requirements engineering process
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle
