About The Position

The Technical Business Analyst will serve as a key liaison between stakeholders and the software development team, focusing on gathering and analyzing requirements, process mapping, solution design, and documentation. This role is essential for translating business needs into actionable requirements and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions. The position offers a hybrid work environment, with a strong potential for temp-to-hire opportunities.

Requirements

  • 5-10+ years of relevant work experience in business analysis or a related field.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to break down complex problems.
  • Experience with business analysis tools and process modeling software.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to lead projects or groups without explicit authority.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Retail, Finance, IT, or Infrastructure sectors.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
  • Project management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) or Agile methodologies (e.g., SAFe, CSM, CSPO).

Responsibilities

  • Partner with stakeholders to understand business goals, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Translate business needs into detailed functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Analyze current business processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements.
  • Work closely with the technical team to define system specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Create clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation for stakeholders and development teams.
  • Engage with product managers, engineers, designers, and leadership to ensure seamless communication.
  • Use data analysis to identify trends, pain points, and opportunities for growth.
  • Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by creating test cases and ensuring the final product meets business requirements.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, tools, and technologies to bring new ideas and best practices to the team.
