The Technical Business Advisor I or Above role is designed for individuals who possess a comprehensive understanding of the technical aspects of our company's products and services, particularly how they integrate into the operations and needs of our customers. This position requires a deep understanding of both software and hardware functionalities, enabling the advisor to assess and define the necessary solutions or systems tailored to client requirements. The advisor plays a crucial role in building customer confidence in our technical solutions, ensuring that clients are well-informed and satisfied with the offerings. In this role, the advisor provides technical business knowledge related to specific products, systems, or projects where guidance and solutions are required. The advisor may be involved at any stage of a project or issue, which includes refining specifications, designing products or systems, and managing parts or the entirety of a project. A significant aspect of the role involves performing thorough analyses to ensure accuracy and recommending alternative solutions within the project's strategic framework and deliverable prioritization. This may encompass conducting feasibility studies and risk analyses to understand client needs and the impacts on their systems, adjusting delivery to align with client requirements. The advisor may also monitor high-level implementation plans and collaborate with business, technical, operations, and end-users to achieve desired solutions. Providing business direction and handling client negotiations are also key responsibilities. The advisor may review defined system requirements to ensure they meet business needs and validate the proposed solutions. For moderately complex projects, the advisor may serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for specific components, guiding the understanding of requirements and their impacts on the customer, system, and overall strategy. Participation in client-facing meetings, joint venture discussions, and vendor partnerships is expected, as well as working closely with internal development teams to determine solution approaches. The advisor will leverage specialized experience and knowledge to resolve varied and complex issues, acting as a consultant for business best practices and industry trends.
