About The Position

In this role, you join our Kit Assembly team and contribute directly to the production of high‑quality QIAGEN products. You work hands‑on in a fast‑paced environment where priorities shift quickly, and your accuracy and focus truly matter. You ensure smooth assembly operations, maintain high product standards, and support a collaborative and safety‑driven team culture.

Requirements

• You bring a high school diploma (or equivalent) with 1–3 years of experience, or an AA degree with relevant experience.
• You are comfortable working with general and automated laboratory/production equipment.
• You use computers confidently and document work accurately.
• You plan time, equipment, and materials efficiently and resolve production issues independently.
• You work safely in a team environment and communicate clearly with supervisors.
• You can lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
• You demonstrate dependability, motivation, punctuality, and strong attention to detail.
• You read, write, and understand English fluently.

Nice To Haves

• You ideally understand FDA‑regulated and cGMP production practices.

Responsibilities

• You comprehend and perform assigned manual assembly and production tasks according to established SOPs.
• You adhere to and accurately complete all production‑related documentation.
• You set up, troubleshoot, and operate production equipment within the assembly area.
• You maintain product quality and escalate issues when needed.
• You support counting, verifying, and preparing materials required for production.
• You contribute to cross‑functional process improvement initiatives.
• You ensure ongoing compliance with applicable quality and EHS regulations and standards (e.g., ISO, FDA, cGMP).
