About the position
Technical Assistant - Process surplussed computer equipment and/or Cyber Security Operations.
Responsibilities
To process computer equipment for security purposes.
Maintain documentation detailing the completion of the process.
Prepare and troubleshoot equipment for resale.
Collecting systems from the different departments on campus.
Maintaining the system used for this process.
Cyber Security Operation, working tickets contained in the various Security Consoles.
Requirements
Ability to communicate effectively, work independently, and accept responsibility.
Must be diligent and on time.
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
For Cyber Security Operations, basic cyber security knowledge/ degree of study.
Nice-to-haves
Experience using computers and software, Informatics student, and/or technical Linux server ability desired.
Informatics Major a plus.
