About The Position

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily monitoring of utility-scale PV plants through SCADA and performance platforms.
  • Conduct first-level alarm triage, log issues, and escalate as needed.
  • Validate production, availability, performance ratio, and curtailment data.
  • Maintain clean and organized event logs and performance databases.
  • Support investigations into underperformance at the inverter, block, or tracker level.
  • Assist with loss analysis and basic root-cause assessments.
  • Contribute to monthly and annual performance reports.
  • Identify key contractual KPIs and take action to limit their influence on revenue and potential liquidated damages.
  • Coordinate with O&M service providers regarding routine operational issues.
  • Support field visits, site inspections, and basic performance audits.
  • Keep technical documentation, as-built drawings, and asset records up to date.
  • Build foundational knowledge of PV system design, component behavior, and common failure modes.
  • Develop technical skills in data analysis, scripting, automation, and SCADA logic.
  • Progress toward independently managing the technical oversight of solar assets.

  • The base salary range for this role is $90,000–$115,000.
