About the position

We are seeking a ServiceNow Technical Architect with over 5 years of technical experience in the ServiceNow ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of the ServiceNow platform and experience in implementing CMDB and cloud Discovery. You will be responsible for leading all ServiceNow projects, including POCs and pilots, specifically for a large banking customer. Your role will involve designing and architecting new implementations, enhancements, and backlog work, while also coaching and guiding developers, administrators, and ATF testers. You will work closely with the customer’s platform team to develop a ServiceNow roadmap and evangelize ServiceNow across various departments within the customer organization outside of IT Infrastructure. The position requires excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work effectively in virtual teams across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

  • Work as Technical Architect/Lead for all ServiceNow projects, POC/Pilots, new opportunities for a Banking Customer.
  • Design, Architect new implementation, enhancements, backlog works.
  • Coach, Guide Developer, Administrators, ATF Testers.
  • Work closely with Customer platform team to develop ServiceNow roadmap.
  • Ability to evangelize ServiceNow to various department within customer organization outside of IT Infrastructure.
  • Ability to problem solve, troubleshoot, manage technical escalations.
  • Identify and adopt best practices for to manage customizations.
  • Lead POC/pilot effort of new capabilities/product features.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of technical experience in ServiceNow ecosystem.
  • At least 2 implementation project experience one of which is for large customer.
  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow Platform.
  • Experience implementing CMDB and cloud Discovery.
  • Experience with at least 2 non ITxM modules likes SecOps, HRSD, CSM.
  • Strong experience in integrating ServiceNow platform with other enterprise systems using various integration mechanism.
  • Experience with upgrades, simplification of customizations.
  • Ability to work in a consulting & advisory role with customer.
  • Ability to work as Expert guide in troubled project.
  • Experience with Agile & DevOps.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, ability to work effectively in virtual teams across multiple locations.
  • Experience implementing SAM Pro.
  • Experience/exposure to APM/EA, SPM.
  • Experience implementing Now Assist.
  • Experience with competition SaaS platform (BMC, Salesforce, Pega, Appian, Splunk).
  • Experience working with Banking Customer.
