Are you a hands-on technology expert ready to architect and implement cutting-edge solutions in a dynamic insurance brokerage? As a Technical Architect at M3, you'll be deeply involved in designing, building, and maintaining our technology infrastructure while providing technical leadership when needed. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work directly with complex systems, solve challenging technical problems, and guide technology initiatives through hands-on implementation and mentorship of the Technical Operations team.

  • Design and assess overall technical architecture, ensuring our technology infrastructure evolves to meet emerging business needs and strategic objectives
  • Act as Technical Lead for large-scale technology deployments, coordinating teams and managing critical communications to ensure successful implementation
  • Leverage your expertise to guide and upskill the Technical Operations team, strengthening the sustainability and capabilities of the entire IT department
  • Collaborate with IT Management on future technology goals and strategies, participating in budgeting processes and advocating for important technical improvements
  • Hands on system administration and security operations, implementing robust controls while optimizing costs and reducing risks across enterprise-wide systems
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Technology Management, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise technology administration and management
  • Proven experience leading and implementing architecture for large, complex solutions
  • Strong background in developing architecture blueprints, strategies, and roadmaps
  • Broad technical expertise across multiple IT areas including infrastructure, software development, database administration, and security
  • Networking experience across multiple cloud platforms
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Outstanding communication abilities with stakeholders at varying technical knowledge levels, emphasizing collaboration and education
