As a Solution Architect - Platform Engineering at Quantiphi, you will be instrumental in our Platform Engineering team, leading the delivery of advanced solutions in Application Development, Platform Engineering, Data Engineering, Analytics, and Machine Learning for our clients. This role requires experience in workload migration from on-premise datacenter environments to AWS, enabling clients to leverage the full potential of cloud capabilities.

  • Architect, deploy and maintain AWS Cloud based infrastructure services including VPC, IAM, S3, Lambda, EC2, SQS, SSM, ASG, Cloudwatch, Cloudtrail, Boto3, Python, EKS, Shell Scripting, Automation, SNS, SQS, KMS, EKS, ECR, RDS.
  • Lead cloud migration efforts, including Lift and Shift (REHOST) migration to AWS EC2 instance based architectures.
  • Utilize tools like Cloud Endure, Double-Take, AWS Migration Hub, AWS Application Migration Service (MGN), AWS Server Migration Service (SMS), and AWS Database Migration Service (DMS).
  • Set up and manage hybrid cloud networks, including VPN and AWS Direct Connect.
  • Automate migration tasks and processes using scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform, CDK, and CloudFormation Templates.
  • Ensure AWS security best practices are followed, including setting up IAM roles and policies.
  • Monitor cloud infrastructure and application performance using tools like Amazon CloudWatch.
  • 7+ years of experience in a related field.
  • Proficiency in AWS services and cloud architecture.
  • Experience with on-prem VMware/other platform based Virtual Machine.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud-related services such as compute, storage, network, and messaging.
  • Experience with troubleshooting Linux/Windows OS issues.
  • Hands-on experience with scripting and programming languages such as Bash, Python, Core Java, and Scala.
  • Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, Puppet, AWS SSM.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer).
  • Experience with relational SQL, NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
  • Ability to build and manage container hosting platforms using Docker, Kubernetes, AWS EKS.
  • Experience working in an Agile and DevOps environment.
