This is a temporary or an on-call position. Provides technical support. Responsibilities may include computer programming or operations; research support; medical patient care; technical equipment maintenance, repair, fabrication or operation; or other technical support functions. Prosection Assistants follow dissection protocols provided by faculty of the Division of Human Anatomy to produce prosections of human cadavers for use as teaching specimens in the Gross Anatomy Laboratory. Prosection Assistants are also expected to assist the site staff mortician with duties related to care of human cadavers and/or tissue specimens.
