About The Position

Atlantic Medical Imaging is seeking a Per Diem Technical Aide to assist the MRI department in the Wall office location. This position is a great opportunity for Radiology School students and aspiring Technologists! AMI offers the 401K retirement benefit to Per Diem employees. Offered rates increase based on years of work experience.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or equivalent; some college coursework preferred
• American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross Basic Life Support certification required
• Willing to obtain certification within first thirty (30) days of employment
• Willing and able to work around MRI equipment
• Excellent organizational skills
• Well developed customer service skills
• Maintains patient privacy at all times
• Attention to detail in all aspects of work
• Skilled in utilizing standard office equipment, including computers

Nice To Haves

• Previous radiology practice experience
• Flexibility to work varying shift times
• Willingness to travel to other office locations if needed

Responsibilities

• Prepares charts and registers patients
• Takes patient history and processes paperwork
• Monitors the patient in the clinical area when the technologist is elsewhere
• Assists the technologist with patient care
• Greeting patients and escorting patients to the changing area, providing gown instructions
• Safely enters and completes work responsibilities within the MRI area
• Assists patients with wheelchairs and dressing as needed
• Performs other duties as assigned
