If you're a solutions-driven, passionate change-maker, come join us in positively impacting the lives of millions of people world-wide for a better future. Job Overview: The Technical Advisor (TA) for Mental Health and Psychosocial Services (MHPSS) will support the Mental Health and Psychosocial Service efforts of IRC within the Resettlement, Asylum and Integration department (RAI). The TA will support RAI’s efforts in the U.S. to partner with and build the capacity of IRC RAI offices and other service providers to deliver high-quality services to refugees, asylum seekers, and other forcibly displaced individuals and families, including mental health, psychosocial support, women’s protection and empowerment, and trauma informed case management. The TA is expected to integrate best available evidence and best practices with strategies to overcome barriers that prevent many forcibly displaced community members from receiving, benefitting from, and responding to safety and wellness services. The TA may produce training and materials to increase internal and external capacity to support individuals, children and families who have experienced forced displacement, trauma, and migration related stress.
