About The Position

As a member of the Technical Accounting team, you will partner closely with our creative and groundbreaking finance and business teams to ensure they are provided with top-notch accounting guidance to drive the business forward. You will have the opportunity to advise on a broad range of business issues and continually improve our operational and financial processes.

Requirements

• 7 years of progressive experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
• CPA or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• 8-10 years of progressive experience from public accounting and/or large public companies, preferably focused on the technology industry.
• Experience with U.S. GAAP technical research and analysis for a broad range of accounting topics, including inventory, fixed assets, consolidation, contingencies, revenue recognition and software capitalization.
• IFRS experience a plus.
• Ability to perform technical research on complex matters and effectively communicate accounting issues to business partners.
• Excellent documentation skills—clear, concise, detailed, and accurate.
• Strong ability to explain technical concepts and articulate your expert opinion at all levels within Apple.
• Strong ability to build relationships and work directly with senior executives.
