The Account Manager plays an integral role in the company's sales process with an emphasis on the creation of business in assigned accounts. Their focus is to grow accounts and they are measured by closed business based on the plans and needs of their aligned areas. They are tasked to grow accounts through new projects, expand and add services inside a fixed customer organization, and grow the company's footprint into other customer locations. They accomplish these goals by developing relationships with key personnel at all levels inside a customer's organization, visiting plants to understand technology as well as customer-specific challenges, and working closely with internal engineering to create unique manufacturing solutions for our clients. This dynamic person will come from a background in selling in solutions / services organizations (System Integration Experience preferred) or an engineering background where they desire to expand their career into a sales focus. The candidate must have the ability to blend their industry or technical expertise into customer-facing solutions. Reporting to the Leader of our Account Management group, you will work closely with others on the sales team, executives, and engineering departments to create strategic growth areas with our clients.
