Ability to operate radiation-producing equipment. Perform all job functions as a scrub tech, recording of data and documentation and ability to circulate procedures under the direct supervision of a Register Nurse. Support an organizational culture for Service Excellence and practices the Service Excellence Standards to all customer groups. Functions under the supervision of the Cardiac Cath Lab Charge Nurse. Job Duties/Responsibilities: A. Assists Cardiologists/Electrophysiologists as a scrub assistant, including insertion and manipulation of cardiac catheters, diagnostic and interventional procedures, angiogram injections and acquisitions. B. Operation of physiological computer monitoring and imaging equipment C. Performs a variety of technical procedures utilizing Radiographic Skills, including contrast administration according to policy D. Inventory maintenance E. Performance Improvement participation F. Transportation of patients Provides an environment conducive to safety for patients, visitors and employees. The Radiological Technologist will assess risks to patient safety and implement the appropriate precaution(s) and will comply with appropriate and approved standards relating to: A.
