Maintains a professional demeanor in accordance with the service excellence standards while interacting with patients, patient’s families, (including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics) and coworkers.

Requirements

KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION: Ability to understand and communicate in English both verbally and in writing. Additionally, to be able to follow written and/or oral instructions, and to record completed assignments. A high school diploma or equivalent required.
EXPERIENCE: Ability to perform cleaning procedures in accordance with written guidelines as acquired through two weeks of on-the-job training in department.
SPECIAL SKILLS: Ability to operate/use equipment provided by the department to facilitate the procedures performed.
LICENSURE, REGISTRATION, CERTIFICATION: None

Responsibilities

The Tech - Waste Removal position is responsible for the overall removal of all trash/waste in the hospital.
Maintains a professional demeanor in accordance with the service excellence standards while interacting with patients, patient’s families, (including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics) and coworkers.
Employee will be required to follow any other job-related instructions and to perform any other job related duties requested by supervisors.
