Maintains a professional demeanor in accordance with the service excellence standards while interacting with patients, patient’s families, (including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics) and coworkers.

Requirements

  • KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION: Ability to understand and communicate in English both verbally and in writing. Additionally, to be able to follow written and/or oral instructions, and to record completed assignments. A high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • EXPERIENCE: Ability to perform cleaning procedures in accordance with written guidelines as acquired through two weeks of on-the-job training in department.
  • SPECIAL SKILLS: Ability to operate/use equipment provided by the department to facilitate the procedures performed.
  • LICENSURE, REGISTRATION, CERTIFICATION: None

Responsibilities

  • The Tech - Waste Removal position is responsible for the overall removal of all trash/waste in the hospital.
  • Maintains a professional demeanor in accordance with the service excellence standards while interacting with patients, patient’s families, (including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics) and coworkers.
  • Employee will be required to follow any other job-related instructions and to perform any other job related duties requested by supervisors.
