The WHS Logistics Technician plays a critical role in supporting manufacturing operations by ensuring timely and accurate handling of materials. This position operates under the supervision of the Logistics Manager and requires strict adherence to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and established safety protocols.

  • Consistently demonstrates safe work practices and maintains a clean, hazard-free work environment.
  • Fully complies with all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Picks and delivers materials to the IPT Kanban system promptly to support production schedules.
  • Identifies and removes nonconforming materials from inventory, places them in quarantine, and promptly notifies the Quality Inspector.
  • Follows First Expiry, First Out (FEFO) principles when fulfilling transfer requests.
  • Accurately issues and receives materials using SAP Inventory Transaction Entry.
  • Performs data entry tasks in SAP to support receiving and shipping processes.
  • Coordinates with Purchasing and Quality teams to resolve discrepancies or nonconformances in received goods.
  • Capable of rotating between Receiving, Dispatch, and Shipping functions with minimal supervision.
  • Operates forklifts or powered lifts to load/unload freight trucks safely and efficiently.
  • Conducts regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and system integrity.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in a cGMP-compliant warehouse environment.
  • Proficient in SAP for inventory transactions.
  • Valid Forklift Certification.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends or shifts as needed.
  • Recognized as a SAP Subject Matter Expert (SME).
  • Current Forklift Certification.
  • At least 4 years of experience in a pharmaceutical warehouse setting.
  • Familiarity with Cold Chain Management practices.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills aligned with business goals.
